The fitted sheet was… sticky.
Never good.
It smelled.
Like regret, like a late night, like a… celebration, maybe?
Turns out, the guest did celebrate, and they celebrated something big. So big, in fact, they popped champagne in bed, on the towels, on the robes.
And then proceeded to turn the mattress into a Slip-n-Slide of a sugary sweet champagne shower.
“Seems like equal parts celebration and hangover, to me…” Mr Smudg mumbled to himself under his breath.
“… If I wanted to smell like a nightclub, I’d go back to 2008.”
“Then again, maybe 2008 is what got me where I am today,” Mr Smudg thought to himself.
Guess it’s time to pop open that champagne again, but maybe this time to 2026.
